Craig Raskin in front of the John Frost Bridge. 'A Bridge Too Far'. Arnhem, Netherlands.

Craig Raskin is a freelance photographer currently living in Bangkok, Thailand. He was born in Miami, Florida, to parents who are also natives of the state. Growing up in Miami and watching the city change around him gave him an appreciation for the temporary nature of living and how fast things can change. Many of the places he grew up around no longer exist and most others have been changed beyond recognition.

This experience gave him an interest in developing countries and the change that they are going through. The lifestyles in these place are changing so rapidly that the native culture is dissapearing at an alarming rate. Unless steps are taken to preserve and document these areas, the culture will be lost and become only a memory, which will also dissapear someday.

Asia captured his attention when he lived in Taiwan for a few years. Living there enabled him to explore around the island and also to some of the surrounding countries. Lately, most of his interest is in the changing nature of Thailand and to a lesser extent, Laos.
